Cruelty claims
A Toryglen woman faces charges that she caused her dog uneccessary suffering and failed to provide veterinary treatment for the animal.
Nicola McGinley, of Prospecthill Place, is alleged to have neglected the dog by failing to arrange the surgical removal of an eye.
It is further claimed that McGinely ( 36), did not arrange treatment for a testicular tumour, whereby the tumour spread causing oedema and infection.
This led to the dog’s wounds becoming ulcerated, bleeding and exuding pus and the animal ended up emaciated.
This week at Glasgow Sheriff Court McGinley denied all the charges and an intermediate diet was set for January 18, 2016.
