Honda in price hike
You will soon have to pay more for some Honda models. The popular Civic will cost from £16,470 come the New Year – an increase of 2.3 per cent.
The rise is in line with Honda’s recent move to increase prices which has seen the cost of the new HR-V crossover rise by more than four per cent.
Honda says it is responding to market forces which has seen competitor vehicles increase by as much as three per cent in the past 12 months.
Prices for the larger CR-V SUV and all but the entry level Jazz supermini will also go up from January 4.
The CR-V will rise by 1.9 per cent taking the starting price up to £22,770 while prices for the Jazz will rise by 2.3 per cent on average, although the range will continue to be priced from £13,495.The HR-V now costs from £18,495.
