Denies wielding bottle at police

Glasgow Sheriff Court heard this week that a Cambuslang man is charged with brandishing a glass bottle at police officers.

Ryan Ca i rd, 19, is accused of behaving in an aggressive manner on April 3, 2015, when he is said to have shouted, swore and brandished a bottle at police.

Caird, of Mill Road, pleaded not guilty to the offence when he appeared in court on Tuesday, March 1. He will stand trial on the charge on March 14.
