Free concert

A free concert will take place at Rutherglen Town Hall on Friday afternoon (March 11)

Performing will be Sirocco Winds.

Winners of the Governors’Recital Prize for Chamber Music 2014,Sirocco Winds is a trio of flute, clarinet and bassoon.

Highlights for the ensemble include playing live on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio Scotland, performing at the Commonwealth Gala Concert in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and at the Usher Hall in January 2015.

Their programme will take you around the world of the wind repertoire alongside some of our their own original arrangements.

Although a free show, tickets can be booked in advance through the venue box office.

The performance will start at 2pm.
