Picture perfect walk in the park
Castlemilk Park’s popular photo walking club will return this month.
The last scheduled meeting by the group had to be cancelled due to unforseen circumstances, but locals will be encouraged to get snapping again on March 14.
Photo walking is the act of walking with a camera for the purpose of taking photos of things that you find interesting along the way.
Each month the group will have a short 30-minute indoor session looking at how to get the most out of your photography, before setting off on the photo walk in the woods of Castlemilk Park.
Cameras can be borrowed for the session.
They will be meeting at Castlemilk Stables, 59 Machrie Road, Castlemilk, G45 0AZ.
The event runs from 1.303.30pm and all are welcome to come along.
Dates have also been announced for the next two meetings of the park’s volunteer group.
They will be meeting on March 10 and March 24.
Activities range from woodland management to wildlife surveys and park clean ups.
Those meetings are at 1pm.
