The appointment of Sir Menzies Campbell, former Leader of the Liberal Democrats, to head up the European Movement in Scotland’s campaign to keep Britain in the EU has been welcomed by Councillor Robert Brown, Scottish Parliament Liberal Democrat candidate for Rutherglen.

Councillor Brown said: “Ming Campbell will give the pro-EU campaign a lot of style, passion and energy. He is a longstanding and committed supporter of the European Union.”
