A Rutherglen woman will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to dangerous driving and driving with more than six times the drinks limit.

Michelle Pollock admitted dr iving dangerously on Brownside Road by repeatedly breaking and speeding up, stopping abruptly on Cathkin Roundabout and speeding and striking the kerb on the A749 Glasgow Road on November 13.

She also admitted running a red light and failing to stop when indicated by police.

At the A725 Hamilton cutoff in East Kilbride she also failed to provide a breath sample, whilst a second test showed she had consumed so much alcohol that the proportion of it in her breath was 143 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 22.

The 39- year- old, of Hamilton Road, pleaded guilty to all three offences when she appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, March 16. She will be sentenced on April 12.
