-

Hillview ................ 3 Fernhill United...... 2 Fernhill United travelled to the Donald Dewar Centre in Glasgow to take on Premier side Hillview in the Sunday Central AFL Arrow Cars quarter final.

Hillview scored against the run of play but United hit back from kick off with Campbell breaking clear of the defence to slot home.

Hillview re-took the lead before Campbell set up Reynolds who struck on the volley from 18 yards and the ball settled high into the top corner.

The hosts brought on fresh legs and scored late into the match.

Fernhill boss David Ramsay said: “The boys can be proud of their efforts. With only one sub we found it hard to freshen the side when there was a few players running on empty.”

In the Premier, a Bobby Hughes hat-trick and goals from Connaire Dawson and Daryl McFadyen gave Castlemilk a 5-0 win over The Treble 2.

Four goals from Karl Duncan and two from Mark McHugh sealed a 6-1 win for Eastfield Star against AFC Polonia Glasgow.

King’s Park drew 1-1 with Broadwood Clyde in Division 2B while Castlemilk United won 1-0 at Gorbals United in the third round of the Health Rewards Cup.

In Division 2C Cambuslang Academy lost 4-2 to Central Academy. On Saturday afternoon Jamie Owens got a late consolation for Newton Accies in a 4-1 defeat to Dumbarton Harp Celtic.
