Se­cret film­ing case is halted

The case against a man who al­legedly told two teenage boys they were be­ing se­cretly filmed has been post­poned.

Ian Pater­son is ac­cused of plac­ing the boys, aged 13 and 14, in a state of fear and alarm by act­ing in a threat­en­ing man­ner and telling them he had taken videos and pic­tures of them.

Dur­ing the in­ci­dent on July 1, 2015, at Ker­rycroy Av­enue, Pater­son is also ac­cused of telling the boys they were again be­ing filmed by hid­den cam­eras.

Pater­son, 61, of Ker­rycroy Av e n u e , To r y g l e n , ap­peared be­fore Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on Mon­day, April 4 but was told pro­ceed­ings would be halted un­til the sum­mer.

He will re­turn to court for an in­ter­me­di­ate trial diet on Au­gust 8, and the trial is set for Septem­ber 7.
