Denies drugs supply charge

A Castlemilk man has been charged after he was allegedly found with cannabis on his possession.

John McGinley, 38, of Tormusk Road, is alleged to have had the class B drug on him at his home on June 5, 2013.

It is believed that McGinley had intended to supply the cannabis to another or others.

He was also charged with failing to appear at court on September 3, 2015 without a reasonable excuse having already been granted bail.

At his court appearance on April 5, McGinley pled not guilty and his trial was adjourned until May 16.
