Cam­bus­lang, was nom­i­nated for the De­sign cat­e­gory at the BAFTAS.

It was for her great work in the film Starfish where she was seen to be an up-and-com­ing suc­cess.

In the film, her char­ac­ter Amy un­will­ingly takes her younger brother Liam to the beach for the day and their re­la­tion­ship is tested by the re­al­i­ties of their fam­ily life.

Louise, 23, had also been nom­i­nated in 2015 un­der ‘ Best Fac­tual’ as a co-pro­ducer for the doc­u­men­tary ‘Late night in Glas­gow’.

She is fresh out of univer­sity, hav­ing only just grad­u­ated in July 2015 and Starfish was part of her grad­u­a­tion show­case, and it was her first real shot at di­rect­ing a film with a bud­get

It re­ally was an in­cred­i­ble sur­prise to be nom­i­nated.
