Projects funding up for grabs

-

People in Rutherglen and Cambuslang are invited to put forward innovative concepts and projects in South Lanarkshire for a competition to win up to £ 5,000 funding from the Central Scotland Green Network (CSGN) Ideas Fund.

The fund supports the development of pioneering greenspace and green infrastructure projects, from concepts in their early stages of research, scoping and feasibility to those further on in the design process which are ready to transform their vision into reality with project development, testing or delivery.

Keith Geddes, chair of CSGN, said: “As Europe’s largest greenspace initiative, we aim to support organisations in delivering the green network on the ground. The CSGN Ideas Fund is an excellent platform which encourages creativity in greenspace and green infrastructure thinking. We’re looking forward to seeing what this year’s entries bring.”

Ent r ies should be submitted by noon on Monday, June 6. Three shortlisted projects will go forward for presentation at this year’s CSGN Forum, on June 21.
