195th BB company celebrate success

The past couple of weeks have been a busy time for the 195th Boys’ Brigade company.

Three of their senior boys - Lewis Gemmell, Keir Wilson Sim and Alexander Fulton - were presented with their President’s badges at West and Wardlawhill Church.

Then, the junior section were second in Cathkin District’s football league, missing out the top place to the 118 only on goal difference.

They did, however, win the district’s knockout cup competition, beating the 118 2-1 after extra time.

Not to be outdone, the company section junior football team, helped by boys from the 131 Stonelaw and 229 Cambuslang companies, won the Glasgow Battalion league and the knockout cup.

The Intermediate team also won the knockout cup and are well placed to winner their league.
