Malcolm Middleton

The former Arab Strap man’s first album under his own name in seven years is a curious affair, with Middleton’s typically dark outlook on life complimented by a selection of 1980s inspired pop melodies and EDM beats. Produced by Glasgow electropopper Miaoux Miaoux, it offers polished pop that’s always interesting, if not totally convincing.
