Fast paced comedy on stage

East Kilbride Repertory Theatre presents a very funny new production of the smash hit from America: Nana’s Naughty Knickers from June 15-18.

The EK Rep Theatre follows their very popular hit show ‘ Your Turn to Clean the Stairs’ with this comedic romp through New York humour.

This is a neat a well written fast paced comedy from the pen of a leading American playwright Katherine Di Savino.

It was first produced at The Rainbow Dinner Theatre in Lancaster, USA in February 2010.

This play is a comedy verging on farce set in lower Manhattan, New York.

Bridget and her Grandmother are about to become roommates.

However, what Bridget saw as a unique opportunity to stay with her favourite Nana in New York for the summer quickly turns into an experience she’ll never forget. It seems her sweet Grandma is running an illegal boutique from her apartment, selling hand-made naughty knickers to every senior citizen in the five borough area.

Will Bridget be able to handle all the excitement? Will her Nana get arrested – or worse! – evicted?

The setting of this production is enhanced with the imaginative set by Alf Newton.

This will be another un- missable night at the EK Rep Theatre to round off what has been a very popular 2015/2016 Season.
