Thug steals laptop
Police are hunting a thug who threatened a man with a weapon before stealing his computer in Cambuslang.
The terrifying incident took place at 11.20pm on Hamilton Drive on Monday, July 25.
The 31-year-old victim was approached from behind by the suspect who demanded his bag after brandishing a weapon before making off towards West Coats Road.
The bag stolen contained an Apple laptop and camera equipment.
Officers say the victim was uninjured but left “badly shaken” by the incident.
The suspect is described as being of average height and build. He was wearing a navy blue hooded top and blue jeans.
Detective Constable Craig Jolly of Cambuslang Police Office said: “Officers have been carrying out enquiries in the local area and studying CCTV images in an effort to gather more information on the robbery and the man responsible.
“I would ask any witnesses, or anyone with information that may assist our enquiries to contact Cambuslang Police Office through the 101 number. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
