Share your views on rescue service
Residents in Rutherglen and Cambuslang have just a few more days to share their views on the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
A public consultation on the SFRS Strategic Plan 2016- 19 is described as a “key milestone” in the continued development of the service and will help to ensure the SFRS “meets the needs of all of Scotland’s communities over the next three years”.
During the consultation process, the SFRS will engage directly with key stakeholders from all across Scotland to hear their thoughts on what its priorities should be during that time period.
The service have also setup a dedicated website and anyone can take part by visiting www.firescotland.gov.uk/consultations.aspx to give their views.
The 10-week consultation process comes to a close on Tuesday, August 9, and by sharing their views, Rutherglen and Cambuslang residents can help SFRS “assess its performance and make sure its strategic objectives are the right ones going forward.”
