Help end poverty
People in Rutherglen and Cambuslang are being encouraged to have their say on how poverty can be eradicated in their communities.
The Scottish Government is seeking people’s views before The Child Poverty Bill makes its way through parliament next year.
The bill sets out how the government will reduce child poverty and includes policies such as tackling the attainment gap in schools and promoting the living wage.
A consultation launched last week asks people whether there are additional or alternative measures of poverty the government should consider; and how its existing policies can be strengthened.
