Care home wants biomass energy system
A Cambuslang care home want to erect a biomass heating system.
Greencross Nursing Home on Tabernacle Street have submitted plans to South Lanarkshire Council for the system as well as for buffer vessels, a flue and a pellet store.
Biomass systems derive heat from organic matter meaning less of an impact on the environment.
The application was submitted by Thistle Healthcare, who own the home.
