Take part in NHS questionna­ire

Patients in Rutherglen and Cambuslang can have their say on how NHS Lanarkshir­e moves forward.

The health board have launched a public consultati­on on their ‘Achieving Excellence’ healthcare strategy.

Achieving Excellence is one part of a trilogy of plans, along with Joint Strategic Commission­ing Plans produced by the North and South Lanarkshir­e Health and Social Care Partnershi­ps (HSCPs), which will deliver modern, health and social care services.

Dr Iain Wallace, NHS Lanarkshir­e’s medical director, said: “Your comments and feedback are crucial to ensuring we have the right strategy in place to deliver high-quality, safe, effective and personcent­red care for the people of Lanarkshir­e.”

The open public meetings will be held at 6.30pm with refreshmen­ts available. The formal meeting will start at 6.50pm and end at 8.30pm. These will take place on

Wednesday, October 5 at Wishaw General Hospital, Ronald Miller Education Centre, Lower Level, 50 Netherton Street, Wishaw, ML2 0DP.

Tuesday, October 11 at The Village Centre, 12 Maxwell Drive, East Kilbride, G74 4HG.

Wednesday, October 26 at Gartlea Community Centre, Hillfoot Road, Gartlea, Airdrie, ML6 9PL.

The meetings wi l l include an introducto­ry presentati­on, small group discussion­s, and a question and answer session.
