Out for blood

Local residents can give the gift of life this Christmas by donating blood.

The Scottish Blood Transfusion Service will be back in the area in December.

Residents will be able to give blood at Croftfoot Parish Church on December 1 between 4 and 7.30pm.

On December 21, they will be at the Cambuslang Institute between 2pm and 3.45pm and 5.15pm and 7.30pm.

However, residents can donate at any number of outreach services over the next few months or at the Glasgow Blood Donor Centre in Nelson Mandela Place.
