Vow to tragic mum

-

A Rutherglen mum whose son was murdered by a Polish national has been told everything will be done to stop other foreign criminals entering the UK from the EU.

Elsie Guidici’s son Mark was battered and strangled to death by Marek Kepczynski in June 2013. The pair met at a party in Toryglen where 42-year-old Mark acted as an interpreter for the Pole and introduced him to friends. Last week we reported that Elsie had started a petition calling on Theresa May to boot out EU nationals who committed crimes in the UK.

A Scottish Conservative spokesperson this week told the Reformer: “It’s obvious why anyone who’s had to go through a horrific experience like this wants firm action. That’s the responsibility of our own government, police and justice system.”
