A silver success for Harriers

It was a case of so near, so far for Cambuslang Harriers back in 1986.

They had finished second in the McAndrew 4 x 3 mile relay, only being beaten in the Anniesland race by Spango Valley AC.

However second place was still a fine result for the club, given there was a record number of entries in the race.

The picture above captured the various age groups they had, as well as a few of the trophies they had recently picked up.
