Photo con­test for wee snap­pers is in mem­ory of Brian

The Re­former is once again run­ning our Brian Logue Pho­tog­ra­phy Com­pe­ti­tion in hon­our of our beloved photographer.

Brian passed away on Box­ing Day, 2013, at the age of 64. He had been our photographer dur­ing two spells at the Re­former, in the 1970s and from 2007 right up un­til his death.

With the bless­ing of Brian’s fam­ily, we’re look­ing for the best im­ages cap­tured by school­child­ren in the Re­former cir­cu­la­tion area — and the win­ner will scoop £75, cour­tesy of Me­dia Scot­land, and the mag­nif­i­cent Brian Logue Me­mori a l Tro­phy, which was do­nated by an anony­mous friend.

Sec­ond prize will scoop £ 50 and there will even be £ 25 for third place.

Tesco Burn­side have once again come on board to of­fer two spe­cial prizes of £ 25 vouch­ers as well.

Last year’s win­ner was 14-year-old Dar­ren Gir­van, who im­pressed with his pic­ture of Ruther­glen Town Hall.
