Rutherglen Glencairn’s next opponents will be out to give their new manager his first win when Clydebank host Willie Harvey’s side.

The Bankies, who appointed Kieran McAnespie as their new gaffer, lost 2-1 to Renfrew in his first game in charge.

Meanwhile, Glens boss Harvey decided to take in Blantyre Victoria’s match with Girvan following his team’s postponed game. The Seasiders came away 6-1 victors.

Shettlesto­n went top of the league thanks to a 1-0 victory over Shotts Bon Accord as title rivals Kilsyth were involved in Scottish Junior Cup action.

Irvine Victoria and Petershill drew 2-2 and the game between Yoker and Cumbernaul­d United was called off.

Central District First

St. Roch’s fell further behind in the title race after a 1-0 defeat to Vale of Clyde.

Rossvale were pegged back twice by Johnstone Burgh before eventually winning 3-2 while Benburb gained a 3-1 victory at Thorniewoo­d United.

Wishaw Juniors kept up with the pack in fourth after winning 2-1 against Greenock Juniors.

Forth v Neilston and Lesmahagow v Larkhall were both postponed.
