More misery for rail passengers

Rail passengers in Rutherglen are being warned to expect disruption on Sunday, April 2.

ScotRail is carrying out engineering work in Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire.

On services between Balloch/Milngavie and Motherwell Larkhall, buses will replace trains between Balloch/Milngavie and Rutherglen until approximately 1.45pm.

Buses will also replace trains between Glasgow Central and Lanark.

An additional hourly train service will run between Glasgow Central High Level and Motherwell (via Whifflet and via Hamilton).
