Have your say on future of police
Rutherglen’s top cop is urging residents to get involved in a police consultation.
Police Scotland launched the survey in February but Inspector Jim Gillespie says there is still time for locals to air their views.
The consultation will help shape police strategy until 2026 and is open until May 8.
Inspector Gillespie said: “The purpose of the 2026 policing strategy is to improve the safety and wellbeing of people, places and communities in Scotland over the next 10 years.
“I want to encourage the residents of Rutherglen and Cambuslang to complete the survey and help us to change and adapt to ensure that we are effectively policing our local communities.”
