In Division One there was a rare win for Rutherglen Rovers who beat local rivals Castlemilk United 2-1. The victory was just Rutherglen’s fourth of the season.

Rutherglen were not the only local side celebrating a rare victory, In Division 2C Croftfoot also grabbed their fourth win of the campaign with a 3-2 victory over Glasgow Athletic.

In the Premier Division, Springhall Spartans lost 5-0 to Overlee at home.

And in Division 2A Cambuslang Football Academy were hammered 8-1 at the hands of league leaders Crownpoint United. The two sides will meet again this Sunday.
