Not guilty plea accepted by court

A Cambuslang woman’s not guilty plea to shouting, swearing and uttering threats of violence was accepted during a recent court hearing.

Denise Donnelly, of School Lane, was cleared of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner when she appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on March 15.

The 22-year-old said she was not involved in the offence which occurred on School Lane on February 19, 2016.

However her co-accused Ryan McKenna admitted acting aggressively towards a woman during the disturbance.

McKenna, 24, of Caprington Street, Glasgow, was fined £350.
