Praisefor group

Cambuslang Allotment Gardens has been recognised in the House of Commons after MP Margaret Ferrier highlighted the group’s recent successes.

The gardening group was congratulated on securing £1950 of funding from the Postcode Local Trust and its ongoing contribution to the Halfway community.

Ms Ferrier lodged a motion at Westminster highlighting much of the work they had done.

She also expressed gratitude to the Salvation Army for its support of the project and use of land in Halfway.
