“It was also agreed that a pedestrian crossing around the station is long overdue, and the width of pavements needs to be addressed.”
South Lanarkshire Council’s head of roads and transportation, Gordon Mackay, said: “The questionnaire raises a number of different issues and therefore I would ask that full details are formally submitted to the council for consideration.
“On receipt, we will investigate and respond to each point that has been raised.”
