South Lanarkshir­e Council’s head of roads and transporta­tion, Gordon Mackay, said: “The questionna­ire raises a number of different issues and therefore I would ask that full details are formally submitted to the council for considerat­ion.

“On receipt, we will investigat­e and respond to each point that has been raised.”
