Great way to start day with breakfast fundraiser
Rutherglen Universal Connections is looking for donations to their fundraising tombola for their new breakfast club.
The club is in the initial stages, and is a scheme set up and run by local Burnhill residents, and supported by the youth centre. The fun day will be on Saturday, June 17. All the funds raised will go towards the new breakfast club, which is a fantastic way to bring the community together to enjoy a healthy start to the day.
Lizzie McDonald explains:“This project is a fantastic idea. We wanted to try and bring the community together, and felt that this new club would be a great opportunity.
Not everyone starts the day with a healthy meal, so it is hoped this venture will change that.”
The group would also welcome any donations which businesses can make, to ensure there are plenty of funds to keep the club running.
