Since being first elected in 2007 I have devoted myself full-time to serving the people of Rutherglen Central and North.

Over 10 years of service, I have held over 400 surgeries, made over 500 home visits, attended over 1300 meetings, in council and with community groups and handled over 2100 constituent cases. This equates to nearly 20,000 hours of service to my constituents.

At this election, I hope to be part an SNP group that will take charge of South Lanarkshire Council for the first time.

SNP policies mean that we benefit from free tuition, free prescriptions and free personal care for the elderly. We have also mitigated the unfair Tory‘ bedroom tax.’

The SNP has the chance to do the same in local government and deliver for the people of Rutherglen and South Lanarkshire. Vote SNP one and two, and together we will make South Lanarkshire and Rutherglen better.
