Being born in Rutherglen maternity hospital and having lived in South Lanarkshire all my life, I not only hold places like Ruthgerglen close to my heart but fully understand the issues and challenges faced by the local people on a daily basis.

Having recently graduated from Caledonian University with a degree in International Business, I have found that my school and university years have helped me to understand the many issues which impact on young people in todays society. Through employment in retail, housing and voluntary community service, I have gained an insight into local values by listening to the needs of local people of all age groups.

My aim is to improve local facilities and make Rutherglen a safer and more resourceful community in which to live.

I hope you support me to send a strong message to the SNP that the Conservative party is a party for everyone.
