I come from a civil engineering and construction background.

I stand for better management of the maintenance of our civil infrastructure, particularly roads. From an outside perspective, it seems like it could be better co-ordinated to keep costs down on the tax payer, maintain our roads and other key infrastructure to a higher standard and to minimise the impact works have on drivers and the local community by ensuring a multitude of works is not carried out all at once or in short succession at the end of the tax year.

I’d like to see unnecessary spending kept to a minimum as the tax payer is not a never ending cash cow and all debts must be paid, eventually. Our comforts today, should not come at the cost of our children’s tomorrow.

At heart, I’m a staunch libertarian and a firm believer in individual freedom.
