I am a lifelong resident of Cambuslang and have local working experience in roles ranging from the planning department in Rolls Royce to working in the hospitality industry.

As a councillor for the Cambuslang West ward since 2007, I have always been accessible and enjoy strong relationships with community groups and businesses, always taking a keen interest in their well-being and actively championing them in a tenacious manner to bring resolution to their issues.

I was a member of the housing and social work committees and a voluntary director of Care and Repair, which provides a free home repairs service to the elderly. These roles provide me with an insight into diverse sections of public life and the challenges people face.

If re-elected I will continue to champion the people who live and work in this area and will work hard to support the regeneration of Cambuslang town centre.
