Dogattack charge

An arrest warrant has been granted for a Castlemilk man accused of causing a dog unnecessary suffering.

Allan West is alleged to have repeatedly struck the pet on the body at his home on Ballantay Road on June 25, 2016. He was also charged with shouting and swearing at the address. A warrant was granted for the 31-yearold’s arrest when he failed to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on May 4.
