New trial date’s now set

A new trial date has been set for a Rutherglen man charged with being in possession of cocaine.

John Morgan, of Toryglen Road, is alleged to have had the class A drug on him at his home address on February 20, 2016.

The 34-year-old is due to stand trial for the offence on November 9 at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
