There was sun, fun, magic and laugh­ter on Cam­bus­lang Main Street on Satur­day as the town’s an­nual gala day got un­der­way.

Sum­mer­fest saw hun­dreds of peo­ple from Cam­bus­lang, Ruther­glen and fur­ther afield come to­gether to be en­ter­tained as a wealth of tal­ent was put on dis­play.

Pun­ters had the chance to cel­e­brate lo­cal groups be­fore head­line acts Ri­hanna Reloaded and The Justin Bieber Ex­pe­ri­ence took to the stage.

A se­ries of Cam­bus­lang acts also per­formed in­clud­ing Cam­bus­lang Parish Pipes and Drums, Quick­sil­ver Line Dances, MG Dancers, Dance Elite and songstress Pauline Grant.

The au­di­ence was also treated to a demon­stra­tion by Bushido Karate Club, be­fore Sharon Nimmo and Scott Wal­lace and Big Ste­vie Grassie per­formed.

But the head­line acts were cer­tainly the big crowd pullers of the day.
