Crowds enjoy fun in the sun Entertainment galore

There was sun, fun, magic and laughter on Cambuslang Main Street on Saturday as the town’s annual gala day got underway.

Summerfest saw hundreds of people from Cambuslang, Rutherglen and further afield come together to be entertained as a wealth of talent was put on display.

Punters had the chance to celebrate local groups before headline acts Rihanna Reloaded and The Justin Bieber Experience took to the stage.

A series of Cambuslang acts also performed including Cambuslang Parish Pipes and Drums, Quicksilver Line Dances, MG Dancers, Dance Elite and songstress Pauline Grant.

The audience was also treated to a demonstration by Bushido Karate Club, before Sharon Nimmo and Scott Wallace and Big Stevie Grassie performed.

But the headline acts were certainly the big crowd pullers of the day.
