Around the greens

Four sections of six teams played throughout the day with the four section winners playing the semi-finals. The final was played against a mixed club triple and the eventual winners were the Cambuslang BC team skipped by the club president.

Sylvia Dick, daughter Lorraine and son Alan were in attendance and thanked everyone who put so much effort into the competition with thanks to match sponsor, club member Colin Johnston, match convenor Alan Johnston, social convenor and past-president John McKillop, secretary Ann Phillips, treasurer Peter Phillips and all the bowlers, families and friends who gave the club such a wonderful day.

The Monday, June 19, weekly winners were Jimmy Lindsay and John McDonald who finished 17 shots up.

This Saturday sees Cambuslang’s ladies section have a rinks tournament starting at 10am.
