Club of the week
Cambuslang FC 2008s isthe Reformer club of the week.
Formed six years ago, the club continue to strive both on and off the field with the help of dedicated coaches, parents and of course, the stars of the future.
Two of the 2008 teams played against sides at a tournament in England recently and were praised for their efforts on the pitch.
They played against sides from the local area at the Blackpool Whitsun competition at Fleetwood FC’s training ground last month.
Both played the game in the right way and Cambuslang Reds were rewarded with the fair play prize.
Young talented footballers are rising through the ranks at Cambuslang FC and the only way is up according to coach Bryan Butler.
He spoke to the Reformer about the club and its aspirations.
The 2009 and 2010 year groups now up and running .
We also host additional coaching sessions on Saturday mornings at South Lanarkshire Lifestyle Eastfield by Andy McLean for younger players from the 2008 age group and up.
