Keep your cool on hottest days

Rutherglen Reformer - - News -

Summer is well and truly here and you might, like me, be stressing about what to wear.

I visited Peacocks in the Rutherglen Exchange shopping centre this month to suss out this summer’s latest fashion and found the looks that will stop you from saying “it’s too hot for that” or “I have nothing to wear in this weather” and start feeling great about yourself.

The first item that really caught my eye from Peacocks’ summer range was these stunning black, floral print, wide-leg trousers.

If you do not enjoy wearing skirts or maxi dresses wide-leg trousers are a great way to keep cool in the summer while looking extremely stylish.

They are so versatile. You can dress these trousers up for a trendy and modern wedding guest look, pairing with a fancy top and heels, or you can dress this outfit down for a walk along the beach or a garden bbq by pairing with a simple strappy vest top and sandals.

I was so excited to see the colour yellow back in the shops this summer.

Yellow is such a gorgeous colour to wear at this time of the year and matches really well with most skin tones, including the palest of us. Hooray!

So for my second outfit choice I wanted to go bright and bold. I picked this beautiful yellow, one shoulder, frill vest top, another very versatile garment which can be worn on most occasions.

I paired this top with white skinny jeans and nude knotted footbed sandals.

These sandals are a trendy accessory to complete your summer outfits and are extremely comfortable to walk around in, making them the perfect addition for your suitcase.

Last but not least, this girly crew neck tunic dress really stood out to me.

It really is the perfect dress for those holiday nights when you dress up and head out for dinner. It is made with a lovely light material, making it an excellent choice for the warm weather.

I really loved the style of this dress. It is quite large when you first put it on but you are then able to pull in the waistband to flaunt your shape.

Coming in at only £14, this stunning look will not break the bank.

Catch me next month for more summer looks. Until then follow me on Instagram and keep up to date with my latest findings @ dressingwithdanielle.
