Two men arrested after fire bomb attack
Two men have appeared in court after an alleged fire bomb attack on a quiet Cambuslang street.
Residents of Macfarlane Crescent were left stunned in the early hours of Friday morning when a white Mini went up in flames.
Dylan Shaw, 24, and Paul John Murphy, 27, both made no plea or declaration when they appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
They have both been charged with wilful fire raising and vandalism while Mr Murphy has also been charged with assault.
Mr Shaw, of Coulin Gardens in Glasgow, was released on bail while Mr Murphy, of Shiskine Drive in Glasgow, was remanded in custody.
One person living on the street said:“The car was completely ruined at the front.
“The police were here all of Friday morning.”
