Burnside Primary pupils will be on telly
Parents and visitors to Burnside Primary School will be able to keep up to date with pupil activities next term as pictures and video footage is displayed on a new television.
Donated by Tesco Burnside, the 32 inch TV/DVD combi will screen photographs and videos of pupils recent work.
Helen McGarvey, head teacher at the school, said Burnside Primary had a lovely link with the local store.
She said:“Thank you so much to Tesco Burnside for the kind donation.
“We were thrilled when Karen Jarvie arrived to deliver our new addition. We will be able to install this in the foyer of our beautiful new school and hope that pupils, staff, parents and visitors can enjoy the many photographs and video footage of our pupils taking part in their activities throughout the year.”
Karen Jarvie, community champion at Tesco Burnside, said:“I was delighted to provide Burnside Primary with a television for the entrance to their beautiful new school. I hope it helps enhance learning as well as encourage and inspire visitors and pupils alike.”
