Braga prepares to mutate

Alice Braga has joined the cast of X-Men spin-off New Mutants – replacing original choice Rosario Dawson in a key role.

The I Am Legend and Elysium actress (pictured, right) will play Dr Cecilia Reyes, a character described as “a medical doctor who has the ability to generate a protective bio-field around herself ”.

Staying with comic book movies, and the director of the upcoming The Batman, Matt Reeves, has confirmed that he is planning on the Ben Affleck-led flick being the first of a new trilogy for the Caped Crusader, saying he has “ideas about an arc”.
