Warrant granted for driver
A warrant has been granted to apprehend a 31-yearold Rutherglen man who faces three driving charges.
Jamie Anderson is accused of drink driving on Castlefern Road, Rutherglen, on October 29, 2016.
He is said to have had 59 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when breathalysed by police.
The legal limit is 22 microgrammes.
Anderson, of Quarryknowe, is also charged with driving with a provisional licence without suitable guidance or L plates and also of driving without insurance.
He also faces a fourth charge of possessing herbal cannabis, a class B drug. Anderson pleaded not guilty to all charges when he appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court in May.
However, he failed to appear at a court diet on June 30 and because of this a warrant has now been granted for his arrest.
