Get along to Cuningar
Forest Enterprise Scotland is encouraging everyone to join them on Saturday, July 29 at Cuningar Loop in Rutherglen for their outdoor play event.
This summer, the facility is hosting a series of entertaining and exciting activities for all the family to enjoy.
The programme aims to encourage everyone to have fun in their local woodland and enjoy the outdoors.
For anyone looking for something a bit different there will be themed activities on Saturday and Wednesday, August 2 and 9.
Hugh McNish, social programme manager at Forest Enterprise Scotland, said:“This is a great occasion for all the family to get outdoors, appreciate nature and socialise through a creative activity.
“It is a good opportunity for the community to visit Cuningar Loop and see what this beautiful green space has to offer.”
Cuningar Loop, a Legacy 2014 project, boasts an extensive path network, adventure play, bike skills area, outdoor bouldering park, woodland workout area, picnic areas and an outdoor classroom. Craig Thomson, owner of operation play outdoors, said:“We are passionate about the outdoors, nature, play and the many benefits it can bring for children and young people.
