His dog said to be out of con­trol

A man whose dog was al­legedly out of con­trol on a Cam­bus­lang street has ap­peared in court.

Mo­ham­mad Omar Khan, 28, is ac­cused of fail­ing to re­strain his Ja­panese Akita af­ter it al­legedly bit a man on his body, as well as an­other dog.

It is also said to have ap­proached the ve­hi­cle of a woman and acted ag­gres­sively, pre­vent­ing her from leav­ing the car.

The in­ci­dents are all said to have oc­curred on North Av­enue on De­cem­ber 6 last year.

Khan, of Well­shot Drive, pleaded not guilty to the charge when he ap­peared at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on July 11.

He will stand trial on Au­gust 10.
