Accused admits kicking officer

Sentencing has been adjourned for a Castlemilk woman who repeatedly kicked a police officer.

Megan Paterson pleaded guilty to the assault which occurred at the accident and emergency department at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow on April 10 last year. The 26-year-old struggled with two officers, shouted, swore and uttered threats of violence.

The Blaeloch Avenue resident was on bail at the time of the incident.

She admitted her guilt at a hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court on July 12.

She will return for sentencing on August 14.
