Tuck in to free breakfast

Ruglonians are being invited to share breakfast with friends and neighbours in a special event today (Wednesday).

The Free Big Breakfast, hosted by youth project Universal Connections, is for all members of the community irrespective of age. There will be rolls with bacon, sausage and scrambled egg served between 10am and 11.30am at the premises at 1 Burnhill Street.

The event will also see the return of magician Gary Dunn, who will be kicking off his Edinburgh Festival residency with a free show from midday until 1pm.

Victoria Barnett of Universal Connections said: “This is a fantastic event to welcome all members of the community to the centre.

“We want to be more than just a youth a centre, an active hub for the whole community. All ages can come in on Wednesday from young children to pensioners too.

“We’ve had Gary Dunn in before and his show is hilarious. It’s not just for kids and there are plenty of hidden jokes the adults will enjoy too.”
